Booking terms

On the website you choose a date for the practical part of the training and state how many places you want to book. The person making the booking counts as one of the participants.

Every participant needs their own email address. It is used for the personal login to the course material and to connect completed elements and test results to the right person.

When the booking is complete, you as the booker receive a confirmation with all the booking information. Once payment has been registered, each participant receives a separate email from the course platform with personal login details and information about how to get started. The booking becomes binding when the booking confirmation has been sent.

The two theory sessions are booked separately by email with us. That way we can coordinate participants and offer shared theory sessions.

So that you have time to complete both theory sessions before the practical riding, booking closes a certain time before each training session. The calendar therefore shows only the dates that can still be booked.

We issue an invoice after booking. It must be paid by the date stated on it.

Once payment has been registered, a personal account is created for every participant and the digital course material becomes available.

If the invoice is not paid we may have to offer the place to somebody else. We contact you before we do.

If you need to change the date of your practical training, contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling depends on available places on the date you want to move to.

We may also need to move a booked training session, for example because of weather or other conditions that affect whether the training can be carried out safely. Safety always comes first, and we decide whether the conditions are suitable for practical riding.

If your training session has to be moved, we tell you by email and help you find a new date.

As a consumer you have the right, under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, to withdraw from your booking within 14 days of receiving the booking confirmation.

To use your right of withdrawal, tell us by email at kontakt@snoskoterutbildarna.se. Give the name and the email address used for the booking, so that we can find your booking easily.

Once we have received your request we review it and reply with a confirmation.

If you have asked us to begin the training during the withdrawal period, for example by starting to use the digital course material, you may have to pay for the part of the service that has already been supplied.

To cancel your booking after the withdrawal period has ended, also contact us by email at kontakt@snoskoterutbildarna.se. We review your request and reply with a decision.

We may have to cancel a training session because of, for example, illness or weather and snow conditions that mean the training cannot be carried out safely. We tell you as soon as possible if your session is affected.

If a training session is cancelled we offer several alternative dates, so that you can choose a new session that suits you.

If a lack of snow or other weather conditions means the training has to be cancelled for a longer period, we contact you to go through the options available for your booking.

You must be 16 to take the theory test. Supervised practice is allowed from 15 years and 9 months. Participants under 18 need guardian approval. A Swedish personal identity or coordination number is required for result reporting.

During the practical training you borrow a snowmobile, and you must follow the instructor's directions and the rules that apply on the practice area. Safety always comes first.

Taking part in the training under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted. If a participant does not follow the instructor's directions, or puts safety at risk in any other way, we have the right to stop the practical training for that participant.
